Jack is movin'!
I have to tell you this story...the other day, just after Michael, Jack, and I got home, Michael set Jack in the corner of the couch. We do this occasionally having him sit up like a big boy. He's so small it looks like the couch is going to swallow him whole. Well, I was heating up some milk for Jack in the kitchen and Michael went in the back for some reason. When he came back to the living room we both saw Jack at the same time. Somehow Jack had flopped over on his stomach and his head was hanging off the front of the couch. Jack was totally chill about the whole thing. I was all worried and fretting, but Michael's attitude was "Way to go, Jack!" Needless to say, from then on we are more careful when we put him on the couch in this manner.

Dinner and Birthday Celebration
Last week we went to dinner with a
bunch of our friends at Black Bart's.
but we sure looked pretty stupid at times.
the best service I've ever had!
and gave him some fried ice cream with a candle in it.

Megan's Birthday!
I made this cake for Megan. It's gluten-free! (She has celiac...and she loves diagnosing everyone else with it.) I have dubbed this cake "the earthquake cake". It broke as I was putting it together and the frosting just melted into the crack. I guess I should have used Mom's famous fluffy-white frosting...
Megan was eager to eat it.
Or lick it like an ice cream cone...
Michael lit the sixteen candles...she actually turned 25, but I only had 16.
After a horrible rendition of "Happy Birthday" Meg put out the fire with her amazing anti-fire breath:
Here's a few pics of a bunch of us hanging out and eating cake:

Bath-Time
When Jack first gets in the water, he gasps and it looks like his chest will cave in.
Then comes my new favorite face that he makes. It's like he's saying, "Ahhh, Mom, what are you doing to me?!?"
And after about thirty seconds he calms down and remains mellow for the rest of bath-time.
Froggy towel.
