Prenatal Massage

Well, my friends, it is official. I have now discovered my true weakness and craving during pregnancy. And it doesn't turn out to be food. Today I received my first prenatal massage and, let me tell you, it was heavenly. An hour of wonderful relaxation for a mere $55. Before enjoying this bliss I was questioning whether the massage would be worth the money. No need to question any longer. Theresa (who gave me the massage) had a pregnancy massage table with a hole for my belly supported by a large elastic band. That's right, I laid on my stomach in my third trimester! Now I just need one of those tables set up in my home...

The Ball Pool

Jack's new toy.

He loves throwing balls.

Sometimes it's just nice to relax.

Riley and Jack just kickin' it.

Glamour girl.

I just like his look on this photo.

So much fun!

Shall I drop it?

She's squishing me...

Covered in balls.

Climbing over each other.

Time to get out!

You can't see it from this angle, but his head was jammed up against his toy box and he was having a hard time getting out!

One of Those "Moments"

Jack has been sick now for six days with a yucky cold. The cough is the worst part of it. Makes my heart hurt just hearing him cough so much. The last few nights he's had a really hard time falling asleep and staying asleep. Last night at around 11:00, he woke up crying and coughing. After a good bit I knew that he wasn't falling back asleep any time soon on his own, so I went in and got him out of his crib. We snuggled in my glider and rocked. He fell asleep as I lightly traced his face with my fingers. It's been a long time since he's fallen asleep in my arms. As I watched my baby sleep I had one of those "moments". I felt so lucky to be his mom and to be able to hold him and love him and try to make everything better. The last year has seemed to fly by and it won't be long before I'm not able to rock him and soothe him with a simple lullaby. I just felt like time stood still and I was able to really take time to appreciate what a wonderful blessing it is to have Jack in our lives. I can't really seem to put the feeling into words to do it justice, but hopefully you moms out there understand.

100 days to go!

Today I realized something that's caused me much happiness. I only have 100 days till Daisy's due date! Wahoo!

I think Daisy is celebrating by causing me mega-back-pain today. What a way to celebrate... So, I thought a little update on the pregnancy was in order. I am feeling rather large and Michael has informed me that I have begun to waddle occasionally (thanks, hon).

I have officially decided today that it is now sandal weather so that I don't have to bend over to tie my shoes anymore. Lets hope that the weather agrees with me.

I have found that I am downing the Tums with more gusto this pregnancy compared to with Jack. I am also starting to find difficulty in having Jack sit on my lap for reading books, etc. because there's just not as much room...and he likes to elbow and shove Daisy which doesn't feel very good. Sorry these pictures aren't of any of us, but I was a little lazy...what can I say?

Haircut!

We got Jack's hair cut on Friday. In 15 minutes he went from looking like a baby to looking like a little kid. I can't believe how much older he looks just from that haircut. He's looking so handsome. Michael likes to wet Jack's hair and make him look like Calvin from the Calvin & Hobbes comic strip.

Camp Wanna Play at the Mall

We recently discovered a new fun outing for Jack. There's a play area at the mall across town for all the kids and Jack loves it!

This is the toy that teaches kids to play with fire!

Riley came and played with us on Friday.

Sorry about the poor quality on the photos...
the lighting in there was horrible.

Riley went down this slide a lot by herself.

Some kids were nice and helped out the younger ones.

Jack was happy.

Here's Jack eating the fire.

Maybe he'll join the circus and be one of those fire-eater/breathers.

Just happy.

The fire has now entered his eyes.

Careful there.

I did it!

This is cool.

Down the slide.

Pat and Riley.

Just a lot of fun.

Jack loves talking on the phone.

I don't know how it happened because Michael and I both hate talking on the phone, but Jack loves it! So, here is Jack and the phone:

"Mom, can I see that phone?? I need to make a call..."

"Thanks, Mom!"

"I wonder if she'll pick up..."

"Uh huh, uh huh...ok, talk to you later."

"All done...I love the phone!"

"Want it back?"

"How refreshing."
