Daisy turned one on Friday!
We started out the day with one of her favorite activities: taking a bath!
I just had to post this pic. Doesn't Jack totally look like a monk? :)
We had a birthday lunch of Daisy's favorite, Shells & Cheese, and then had some birthday cake.
Getting a little more messy...
A little clip of our fun.
Sporting a chocolate frosting goatee.
Now that's what I call a bite!
All done!
As we prepared to leave the house to get my ultrasound (more on that later), I turned around to see Jack demolishing the cake with his spoon! Now, granted, he had seen me sneaking a few bites out of the cake pan a few minutes previous to this, so who can blame him? We just had a good laugh!
The rest of the day we played with Daisy's new toys and just spent time together as a family.
Here are some of the things that our little Daisy is doing. She:
*started walking just a few days before her birthday
*loves bathtime and any time playing in the water
*has a sweet tooth...I swear she has some sensor that tells her when I get out anything sweet
*absolutely LOVES playing on the couch and Mom and Dad's bed
*has six teeth (just cut the fourth on bottom)
*is such a Momma's girl
*sings songs and loves music
*says Dad, Jack (they sound the same though), car, water, and imitates a ton of other words...I simply can't think of what they are right now
*and Jack giggle and laugh with each other a lot
*loves being involved and tries to do whatever Jack is doing
What a sweetie! We love her!
