Visit to Prescott

A few weeks ago we went down to Prescott to visit the fam.

Dad got out his guitar and we jammed.

Jack and Megan danced together.

Michael and Jack danced together.

We had a lot of fun singing and dancing.

At first Jack wasn't too sure about the mic.

He tried eating it.

It was rare that he actually made any noise into it.

Halloween '09

For Halloween, we dressed up as Bert (Michael) and Ernie (me) with our rubber ducky (Jack).

Jack was extremely hot in his costume. You can see his hair is all sweaty and matted here. We left the hat on, but took the rest of his costume off for the majority of the evening.

"Are you scared?"

"Boo!"

Jack really likes scaring people now. He mostly just says a high-pitched "ah!" and jerks his head up...that's when you get scared.

We went to a costume party at Brad and Jaynah's. So, here are some of the couples. This is Robbie and Britnee, Lucy and Ricky Ricardo.

Peanut Number Two Coming...

Sorry I've been so bad about posting lately. A little update: For those of you who don't know yet, I am about 8 weeks pregnant! We are very excited for another little peanut to join our family (Michael's dad says it's a girl, and he's never been wrong before apparently). I am nauseous as all get out, but haven't thrown up yet. I am also taking naps with Jack every day since I'm tired all the time. Speaking of Jack, he gets cuter every day. This video was taken right after we got him this new toy (I know, he's spoiled). He still gets SO excited every time we set it up for him to walk with it. I love this kid.

Jack in the Box

Yesterday, Michael received 20 lbs. of scuppernongs via UPS.

Scuppernongs are a kind of grape that only grows in North

Carolina. They have a thick skin (I don't eat the skins, they're

pretty sour) that you puncture with your teeth, then you suck

out the guts of the grape and spit out the seeds. They are the

biggest grapes I've ever seen. Jack liked to suck on the skins of

the grapes, but even more so he enjoyed playing in the box

that the grapes came in. What a silly boy!

Megan's Weekend Visit

Last weekend, Megan came up for a visit. It only took seconds

for Jack to recognize her and from that point on it was smiles

and laughs for the rest of her stay.
