Random Jack

Jack likes playing in this Pooh walker even though
his feet don't touch enough for him to walk.

Sometimes he can push the Pooh toy
down far enough for it to play music.

Sometimes Jack's spit-up aim is spot on.

Disgusting.

Jack emptied the crackers all out on the table
and thought it was great fun.

The wet wipe containers happen to
be some of Jack's favorite toys.
That lid can entertain for hours...

These are two more of Jack's favorite toys.
An M&M tin and two metal rings linked together.

Great noise-makers.

Haircut Fever

So, three of my friends and I decided that we
needed change in our lives...so we all got haircuts
the same week. We took before and after shots
with the intent to show the major contrast.
This first picture is of Kimbi prior to the haircut.

Kimbi afterwards.

Hot mama.

Janina before.

Janina after.

She's a wild woman.

Brooke had a hard time making a serious face for the before picture.

We finally got this one.

We'd like to take this time to thank our
hairdressers/stylists. Brooke's sister cut Kimbi,
Janina, and Brooke's hair and Terry cut mine
while we were in Prescott visiting.

Brooke afterwards.

Show it off, girl.

Me before.

Me after..."such a difference"
(and if you didn't get that quote, it's from Return to Me,
which I've probably watched a hundred times...
my favorite water scene at the restaurant).

Prescott Visit

While visiting family in Prescott,
Jack got caught in the act of cooking.

"It wasn't me...it was the lobster. I swear!"

Perhaps he takes after his daddy,
and wanted to cook his own lobster.

Acini di Pepe pasta and lobster...
it was his idea of a feast.

Or maybe it was the spoon.

Terry roasted a HUGE marshmallow at our picnic.

Did I mention it was HUGE?

"This is Grandpa Hummel's face!"

Grandpa Hummel and Jack

Happy to be outside and messy.

Michael

Tori...doesn't she look happy?

I just love this picture. Look at those eyes!

"Mom, you're too close....they can see up my nostrils!"

Jack loves eyeglasses and Grandpa
actually let him play with his.

Hi Jack!

Pots, Pans, Curtains, and Books

Do I eat this?

No, this makes a fun sound!

Lots of fun!

Playing in the curtains.
This is a favorite pastime of mine, too...

Hey!

Megan and Jack reading his new Grover book.

He enjoyed it so much!

He hasn't quite gotten down the
art of hitting the pan every time.

The curtains kept him occupied for quite a while.

He laughed for almost the entire book.
So cute...

Birthday Kisses

Jack and me playing on the floor.

Michael put the candles in my cake...it was a delicious cake.
With Vitamin A, Vitamin B...

Can you see the "28"?

Jack and me.

Brooke and Janina.

Blowing out the candles.

My wish came true.

Jack loved the ice cream.

Yum.

I'm coming in for a kiss, Riley.

Cute video of the kids.
